Local Low Emission Zones take shape ahead of consultation
Committee reports for both Glasgow City Council and Dundee City Council have been published ahead of planned statutory consultations which will take place over the summer when people will be able to give their views on the planned LEZs.
Next week (8 June 2021), Glasgow City Council will present a report before the Environment, Sustainability & Carbon Reduction City Policy Committee to provide an update on the progress of Glasgow's Low Emission Zone and detail the proposed scheme design for its second phase. After this there will be a period of statutory consultation.
Also taking place next week (7 June 2021), is a meeting of Dundee City Council’s Community Safety and Public Protection Committee to discuss the final plan its Low Emission Zone.
