Blue Badge Holder Virtual Consultation
Low Emission Zones (LEZs) are to be introduced in Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow by mid-2022. Vehicles carrying Blue Badge holders will be exempt from the requirements. Transport Scotland is developing an online scheme for Blue Badge holders to register vehicles they are travelling in, with the option to register vehicles via a call centre.
To hear the views of Blue Badge holders as we develop the registration scheme, Transport Scotland is hosting a virtual consultation event on Thursday 9 December.
Join the online session to find out about LEZs, what options are available to ensure vehicles carrying Blue Badge holders are registered as exempt, and share your views on the registration scheme with Transport Scotland. More information on the scheme, including an Easy Read document, will be sent out in advance of the consultation event.
A range of Transport Scotland staff working on the project will be there to hear your views on the proposed scheme.
